The Town of Islip’s Anti Bias Task Force works together with the community to address the issues of prejudice and discrimination confronting our Town. The Task Force, which is chaired by Rabbi Steven Moss, is comprised of concerned citizens with the common goal to promote harmony, respect, and tolerance throughout our Town.

Meetings are held several times a year at Islip Town Hall to discuss various ways to eliminate all forms of bias through education, legislative activism and cultural initiatives that promote the diversity and unity in Islip.

Should you have a concern, please call Rabbi Moss at his contact info above for more information or for referrals to appropriate agencies. If you feel a situation may be criminal, contact 911 or the Suffolk Hate Crimes Unit at (631) 852-6323, and if an act of discrimination call the County Human Rights Commission at (631) 853-5480.
