School Programs
Children are our greatest resource and we’ve acknowledged their importance by facilitating major recycling efforts in the schools.

School household battery collection:
Many of the schools in the Town have household battery collection containers. Children and residents are encouraged to bring batteries to any one of these locations for proper disposal and/or recycling. To date, we have recycled thousands of pounds of batteries from our residents. To find a school near you with a battery collection container, please call 224-5640.
