CEO Summit to Be Held on May 16th; Still Time for Local Businesses to Register

Islip, NY – The Town of Islip’s Economic Development Department has announced that there is still time for local business leaders to register to attend the 3rd Annual CEO Summit. This year's event will be May 16th from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the NBTY's Auditorium, (2100 Smithtown Ave., Ronkonkoma.) This year’s theme focuses on our local pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and bio-tech industries here in Islip Town, but the discussions that spring from this theme will touch upon issues facing all local businesses. Registration is limited, so those looking to attend should contact the Economic Development Department as soon as possible.

“Islip has an incredible economic environment that allows businesses large and small to thrive,” said Supervisor Tom Croci. “As a fellow businessman I believe in the value of these types of gatherings, where business leaders who want nothing but the best for Islip’s economy can come together and discuss new ways in which to succeed.”

The panel discussion, which will be co-moderated by John Kominicki of the Long Island Business News and Supervisor Croci, will undoubtedly feature talks about how national and international business trends have affected Islip’s industrial development. Discussion topics will also focus on how local governments and agencies can better serve the business community.

To register, please contact the Islip Economic Development Department at (631) 224-5512.
