“We’re so grateful for people like Beth Stern and everyone at North Shore Animal League America, who open their hearts and homes to care for these animals. We work with North Shore very closely and they have been great enough to help us whenever we ask. We couldn’t ask for a better relationship with them. Thanks to them, and to Beth, we have more cage space open to take in other needy animals and save more lives,” said Shelter liaison and Councilwoman Trish Bergin Weichbrodt.

Islip Animal Shelter and Adopt-a-Pet Center currently has 25 kittens available ranging from six to twelve weeks old. They also have a variety of adult cats waiting for their forever homes.
