Islip, NY – Islip Town Councilwoman Trish Bergin Weichbrodt spoke with 12 ambitious Boy Scouts who are working for their Citizenship in the Community Merit Badge.  This badge is required for the scouts to reach the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest level attainable in Boy Scouts.

The scouts asked Councilwoman Bergin Weichbrodt questions about pressing issues in the community such as the little league fields and planned sports complex on Carleton Avenue in Central Islip.  The scouts were from various troops within the Sagtikos District.
