Islip Town Supervisor Welcomes Whalers Restaurant to Islip Business Community

November 15th, 2017 – Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by Suffolk County Legislator Tom Cilmi, as well as Town Board members Steven J. Flotteron and John C. Cochrane Jr., at a ribbon-cutting ceremony congratulating the owners of Bay Shore’s newest dining destination Whalers. The new restaurant boasts sprawling vistas of the Great South Bay and features an American cuisine menu with Asian and Latin influences. Whalers joins the already bustling Bay Shore downtown, adding new jobs to the local business community. The restaurant is located at 124 Maple Avenue in Bay Shore, and is open for casual dining and nightlife, as well as catered events.
