Brookwood Hall office hours:
Monday - Friday; 8:30am to 4:45pm
Thursdays (January through August) – 8:30 am to 6:15 pm
Saturdays (May through July) – 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Senior Citizen Services:
Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Museum hours:
Wednesday - Saturday 10am-4pm
Sunday - 12noon - 4pm

Please call for information and an application, or download the Disabled Parking Permit Application HERE. Applications need to be completed by applicant and physician, and returned to Disabled Parking Applications at 401 Main Street, Room 135, Islip, NY 11751.

Senior Citizens Services 224-5340
Services and programs are available to Islip residents 60 years of age or older. Services include senior centers and club activities, nutrition programs and essential transportation.

Open Gym Basketball Program on Fridays is now open to ages 15-17 years old from 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm. Ages 18 and older will be from 8:45 pm - 10 pm. All participants must have a valid Recreation Card. For more information please contact the Sports Office at 224-5404.

Swim Instruction:
Check the Summer Recreation Newsletter for dates, times and registration information for our water safety instruction classes. Swim classes are offered each summer and are geared toward young children and teens, with instruction in swimming as well as the necessary skills to be safe in and around the water.
