The Town of Islip Reminds Residents to Protect Themselves from Summer Scams

 

The Town of Islip wants to remind residents to be aware of common scams that occur during the summer months, and of scam artists who prey upon the elderly. Scam artists are known to prey on New Yorkers, particularly during the summer months, as consumers embark on home improvement projects and plan family vacations, according to Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.
