Bayport – Blue Point Little League Holds Successful Opening Day Ceremony

Islip, NY – Islip Town Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen recently attended the 2016 Opening Day ceremony for the Bayport – Blue Point Little League. In addition to visiting with parents and league officials, Councilwoman Mullen met with James Herlihy of Boy Scout Troop 329. Mr. Herlihy constructed a new flag pole for the Little League complex as part of his Eagle Award project. Councilwoman Mullen thanked all of the volunteer coaches and parents for continuing the American tradition of Little League baseball.
